The Kookaburras have been seeded in Group B of the tournament and we include 17 Canadian girls, three Aussies and one Brit. On Saturday, October 11, we will play the Milwaukee Explosion @ 12:15 and the Arizona Lady Hawks @ 16:00. The Kookaburras played close matches against both of our Group B opponents during the 2007 US Nationals, and look forward to the challenge of beating those established US clubs. Depending on the results of our Saturday matches, the Kookaburras will play in up to two finals matches on Sunday. Results of each match will be reported on this site as they become available.

More information about the 2008 US National Championships can be found on the USFooty website. Messages of support for our team can be posted on our Facebook page. Good luck to all girls representing Calgary - show the US girls how Canadian women play footy!
