During early April, we ran a poll of Calgary Kookaburras, Calgary Kangaroos, Calgary Bears and Edmonton Emus players and supporters to choose a new logo for Alberta Footy. Of the short-listed designs, we selected a new logo representing footy in our province. Along with the distinctive sherrin footy, it features the Rocky Mountains and a Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep, which is a provincial emblem and commonly seen in the foothills.
